Why APMI?

There are dozens of AI models out there. We tested ten of the most-used. They feel different from each other, and they feel different to different people. APMI is the system that figures out which one fits you.

We built two tests that share the same four dimensions but ask different things on each side. The AI test measures personality plus style. Your test measures personality plus preferences.

On the AI side, we don't ask the AI what it's like. We put it under pressure and watch. Does it admit when it doesn't know? Does it hold its ground when challenged? Does it make things up when it's stuck? Your quiz measures how you actually think and work, in the same dimensional space.

The research

Built on research, not assumptions

APMI is the result of months of behavioral testing across the full panel of ten AI models, paired with iterative development of a matched human instrument. The framework, the instruments, the candor layer, and the matching architecture are documented in full in an open-access paper.

To our knowledge, no one else has built a matching system that types both humans and AIs on the same dimensions and compares them directly. Most AI evaluation today is capability benchmarking, what an AI can do. APMI measures the other axis: how it does it, and which user that fits.

How long does the quiz take?

About 10 minutes. 55 questions, single-select. You can go back and change answers before submitting.

Is the free preview really free?

Yes. You'll get your four-letter type and your primary match named, with no payment required. The deeper reports ($14.99 and $49) are optional upgrades.

How is this different from a personality quiz?

A regular personality quiz tells you what kind of person you are. APMI uses the same idea, but it's set up to find the AI that fits how you think and work. You answer questions about yourself. We've already tested each AI. Then we match you to the AI that fits best. You'll learn something about yourself in the process, but the focus is the AI match, not a description of you. What happens to my answers?

Your answers are stored so you can come back to your report. They feed aggregate research on how the matching system performs. We don't sell your data. You can request deletion anytime.
